Constellations

Diamonds in the midnight sky
With some swirling constellations
Watching life just pass us by
With no solicitations

Nothing much to ask of us
Like little ants still climbing
When one day we'll all turn to dust
Some country roads now winding

Climbing out from nothing
It ain't nothing much at all
Our problems insignificant
Each meaning tired and small
Each meaning tired and small

Diamonds in the midnight sky
With some swirling constellations
There ain't no sense in wondering why
But I'm running out of patience
I keep running out of patience
