Autumn Leaves

Summer fades so fast these days
As another sunset drifts away
Seasons bleed and blend in Tune
But our future's always left in bloom

Though somewhere in this tragedy
We wait for what we can't receive
Some words to try and turn the tide
In terms we hope our thoughts can find
Though I will never look behind

I don't wanna wait for this to come
It's just another incident that I cannot perceive
With All those selfish songs we surely sung
I'll wait for your arrival until the autumn leaves

The summer skyline fades to black
And I know there ain't no turning back
For letters that we couldn't send
Or days we thought would never end

We all grow up and come back down
But there's plenty more to go around
With tiny lines to read between
While all these lives grow so obscene
Though you won't need to be redeemed

I don't wanna wait for this to come
It's just another incident that I cannot perceive
With All those selfish songs we surely sung
Well I'll wait for your arrival until the autumn leaves
I'll wait for your arrival until the autumn leaves

Some tips and tricks to keep in check
So that you never lose your face
Still frozen in your stoic pose
But this is more than I can take

I'll never hear the answers
If they're only words my questions will replace

I don't wanna wait for this to come
It's just another incident that I cannot perceive
With All those selfish songs we surely sung
Well I'll wait for your arrival until the autumn leaves
I'll wait for your arrival until the autumn leaves

I don't wanna learn to speak, but I don't wanna grieve
When everything keeps changing, we'll stop and wait until the autumn leaves
